Panini's Bar & Grill Information

Walking into Panini's Bar & Grill in Painesville feels like stepping into a relaxed neighborhood hangout where the energy is always just right-lively without being overwhelming. The location on Fredle Drive makes it an easy stop whether you’re a local or just passing through Lake County, and the steady stream of regulars says a lot about its reputation. From the moment you’re seated, there’s a sense that this place takes its role as a casual dining spot seriously, but without any unnecessary fuss.

The menu leans heavily into classic American bar-and-grill favorites, but there’s enough variety to keep things interesting. Their signature overstuffed sandwiches are clearly the star of the show, packed generously with fillings that don’t feel skimpy or rushed. One standout is the traditional panini, which arrives crisp on the outside and loaded inside, striking a balance between texture and flavor. Beyond sandwiches, the menu includes wings, burgers, salads, and a solid selection of appetizers that are perfect for sharing. The wings, in particular, come in a range of sauces that cater to both mild and heat-seeking diners, and they’re cooked with that ideal crispy finish.

The atmosphere plays a big role in the overall experience. There are plenty of TVs for sports fans, making it a popular spot during game nights, but it never feels like you have to be there for sports to enjoy yourself. The layout is open and comfortable, with a bar area that’s always buzzing and dining tables that allow for a more laid-back meal. It’s the kind of place where you can meet friends for a casual dinner or grab a quick bite after work without feeling out of place.

Service tends to be friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. Staff members are quick to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to order, and they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. Based on multiple customer reviews and personal observations, consistency is one of their strengths-orders come out as expected, and the quality holds up over repeat visits.

While it may not position itself as a fine dining destination, Panini’s succeeds in delivering exactly what it promises: hearty portions, a welcoming vibe, and a dependable menu that keeps people coming back.

What People's Say About Place

The place was busy. The service was excellent; promt and attentive. We were a table of 6 and we had a good time and GREAT food. Can't wait to go back .

Inside or outside Panini's is always consistent with their food amd service. The daily specials are always good and appreciated. The staff is always friendly and efficient. It's a great place to watch your favorite sports event and there's tons of food options for everyone!

I had the Ruben sandwich I would have to say it's been the best Ruben I've had to date. Had some nice melty cheese and the 1000 island dressing was very creamy lots of meat I think it could have used just a bit more sauerkraut wife thought her club sandwich was very good as well. Th kids liked the pizza and bbq boneless wings.

I planned for the back room with John and Carla for my boyfriends 60th bday party yesterday. I couldn't have been happier!!! 50 people, we had the entire back room. Room for everyone, great appetizers and fantastic service from both the girls working for us!!! Thank u so much!!!

I had the traditional buffalo wings, which were on happy hour while I attended. Wings were sub-par, but by no means the worst. Just needed some more sauce and maybe a side. Service was pretty good. Atmosphere was great, plenty of TV's to watch sports. Was not crowded or loud. Overall a pretty decent experience!

Let's just say my boyfriend was super impressed that I was able to fit my mouth over that big ol' stacked Panini. On a serious note, this place was delicious. I never been to Panini's before, but will definitely be back!

We stopped here for lunch while traveling, just a hunch that a place with a name like Panini's would be good. We were very happy with the tasty food, prompt service, and cleanliness. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was perfectly stacked with meat and toppings and the rye bread was flavorful. The fresh cut fries also had great flavor. The menu was big and I wish there was a Panini's near me so I could try some of the other items.

Paninis is always a solid choice. The chicken sandwich with the slaw on it was really good.
